Well, the busy Christmas season came and went with 15 concerts, carol playing sessions and more in December! The generosity of people contributing to our efforts was amazing and in tough financial times new records were set with collections.
A large amount of the funds are used for our Charity Fund – this enables us to work with charities and fundraising groups across the region with fundraising concerts and the ability to refund back some of our normal fees to help their causes. The linking of live music and fundraising is a good mix to give people some enjoyment and at the same time raise funds.
If you were one of the several hundred people who came to the concerts then many thanks for your support. If you have yet to hear the Band then do come along to one of our Spring Concerts – a wide range of music to suit all tastes and a fun evening for all.
