A big thanks to around 250 people who came to our Spring Concerts at Taverham Village Hall in March – our first Spring Concerts since 2019 due to Covid.  As reported last month we included some items in the programme which had been selected by Peter Almond for his 80^th birthday concert some 14 years ago.  Peter sadly passed away at the age of 94 and was still playing with the Band just 2 weeks before he passed.

The band were honoured to play at his funeral, attended by around 80 people, and we performed ‘There’s No Business Like Show Business’ as a tribute to Peter’s many years as a professional trumpet player on the professional entertainment circuit.

We are now working on our summer music programme with several bookings out and around the county. We are also planning 2024, a special year for the Band as we reach our 50^th birthday!!
