September sees some of our younger members heading off to university. We wish euphonium player Henry Stevens and trombone player James Clarke all the very best, with Henry studying music at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. It makes band members very proud when someone who has learned from scratch with the Band progresses to study music at advanced level and have a career in music.
Band membership remains very good but we do have a vacancy for a Bb Tuba player if anyone knows anyone!
