At the time of writing we had just received the sad news of the passing of longest serving Band member Peter Almond at the age of 94.

As a result of this sad news, we changed the programme for our Spring Concert to incorporate a number of pieces Peter selected for his 80^th birthday concert as a tribute to him.

Apart from our Spring concerts, March was full of action with a performance at Norwich City Football Club at the Sunderland game. Fingers crossed it bought some luck!

We are now working on our summer music programme with several bookings out and around the county. We are also planning 2024, a special year for the Band as we reached our 50^th birthday!! Watch this space for more news!
