Well, first may I thank all of you who attended the “Brass Rocks” concerts at the village hall – I am pleased to report that the roof survived our nights of rocking the hall! The concert gave us a chance to play some arrangements of tunes not normally associated with brass bands – judging by your reaction it seems you enjoyed them!

At the end of this month it will be another first for the band when we embark on the Fred Olsen cruise liner “Balmoral” for a tour of the Norwegian Fjords. We are scheduled to play a series of concerts on board and the excitement is already growing!   Look out for pictures in the next newsletter! So until next time…..”Port out…Starboard home”…….
