Ian’s Update November 2016

Well, we hope you all enjoyed our Autumn Concerts at Taverham Village Hall – we once again played to a sell out crowds. We played some classic arrangements including “Mary Poppins”, “Wicked” and “Swing when you’re Winning”.

This year we brought back the Façade Singers which really brought the numbers to life. Whilst the melody of a piece such as “Till I Hear You Sing” ( from “Love Never Dies”) is very powerful, it takes on a different meaning when you add the lyrics – it is only then that the true emotions can come through. We really felt the vocals gave the concerts an extra edge and the audiences seemed to agree! It also gave the vocalists the rare opportunity of performing with a live forty-piece band which, as they will tell you, is an amazing experience

keep-calm-it-s-christmas-ticket-timeWe hate to mention Christmas but our shows are already selling out fast. The concerts take place on 16th and 17th December at the Village Hall and 13th December at Taverham Church for the Candelit Carol Concert. Once again we thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you all very soon.
