Ian’s Update May 2017

Well Spring has well and truly “sprung” with the band performing its traditional pre-summer concerts !

Many thanks to all of you who supported the Village Hall concerts which saw us introduce some new arrangements of some classic songs. These included Paul Simon’s “Bridge over Troubled Water” and the song made famous by Billy Paul, “Me and Mrs Jones”. We also featured Becs Buss with her rousing rendition of “Big Spender”. The evening finished with “Toccata” which rattled the village hall rafters!

There was little time to rest before we performed our proms concerts at Spixworth Village Hall where there was plenty of merriment and flag waving.

We are now rehearsing for our hectic summer season and we look forward to seeing you at our numerous shows – full details are on the website

We are seeking support for the main band and training band and if you or your business is interested in being a sponsor of Taverham Band then please get in touch! Individual sponsors are £250 and business sponsors £500 per annum and we acknowledge/advertise the support at all our concerts around Norfolk.

Thanks again for your valued support – we look forward to seeing you during the summer!
